This restaurant specializes in curry chicken buns.
For those unfamiliar with the uniqueness of these buns, you are probably wondering what the big deal is.
Firstly, you have to see these buns. These are supersized burgers Malaysian style. But these buns are meant to be shared. In some parts of Malaysia, this dish is known as the "golden pillow". PilLoW. 'nough said.
Secondly, each of these gigantic buns has chicken curry in them. I'm talking about the kind of curry dish as below. I mean I'm no baker. But wa-haat? wow right?
Ok google, enlighten me. They actually make the curry chicken first before wrapping it in dough for baking. Ahh.. I guess that makes sense.
It is also an art in getting them ready for a meal.
As you can see, there are just two parts to this meal ~> the curry and the bun.
The curry from this restaurant is seriously good. It is not too spicy or oily. It is made with just the right blend of herbs and ingredients. At one point, I was just sipping the curry. I know rite? But I like what I like..
Lets not neglect the bun ~ it is soft and buttery. Kids would love it.
As a Malaysian, if you have bread and you have curry, you're in for a dunking good time.
